A flexible solution for daily bale handling
At Pomi Industri ApS we work with several solutions for handling bales, and a bale grab is a practical tool when the work needs to be done efficiently and gently. This solution makes it possible to collect bales individually or three at a time until the grab is full, which contributes to a more structured handling.
The bale clamp is available in variants for 9 or 6 small bales, respectively, and for handling 1 mini-big. The solution is developed to make work easier when handling light bales in the weight class of 15–60 kg and can be used in many different contexts.
When small bales need to be moved quickly and gently
Bale grab for 9 small bales are particularly suitable where there is a requirement for efficient handling of smaller bales. The solution is often used by small livestock farms, but also by producers of wrap for further sale. Here, the bale grab can be part of the daily handling, where the bales are moved gently and in a controlled manner.
The possibility of outdoor storage makes the solution flexible, and in practice the bale movement can be adapted to the need. If several bales need to be moved at a time, a bale accumulator can make the work more efficient and reduce the number of lifts. If the bales have not yet received the necessary densification and protection, the wrapping can be carried out subsequently with wrap plastic , so that the storage becomes more stable. For smaller productions, the bale grabs can also be combined naturally with a Miniwrap , where handling and wrapping take place in one overall flow.
Simple operation and gentle handling
The bale grab is controlled via the loader’s own control valves for the hydraulic outlets. This allows for stepless adjustment of the gripping width from 400 to 2000 mm, so that handling can be adapted to bale size and needs. Loading and unloading of mini bales is done gently, which reduces the risk of damage to both bales and equipment.
The solution can be used on tractors with front loaders as well as on other types of loaders, making the bale grab easy to integrate into existing machinery.
